According to these guidelines, PAs are entities that facilitate e-commerce sites and merchants to accept various payment instruments from the customers for the completion of their payment obligations without the need for merchants to create a separate payment integration system of their own.<\/p>\n<p>The guidelines also state that the payment aggregators must have a net worth of Rs 15 crore by March 2021, a net worth of Rs 25 crore by March 2023, and they have to maintain a net worth of Rs 25 crore at all times thereafter.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;RBI regulations surely foster more trust toward the digital payment ecosystem enabling fintechs and paytechs to offer simpler, affordable and integrated digital payment solutions,&#8221; said Mr Manoj Varma, Head of Payments at Lyra. &#8220;Our plan is to onboard 1lakh+ merchants in the next 12-16 months.
