The event was attended by students, parents, faculty members, trustees and senior academic leadership.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"LTR\">A total of\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"LTR\">844 students<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"LTR\">\u00a0from the\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"LTR\">Schools of Business &amp; Law (SBL), Engineering &amp; Technology (SET), Science (SoS), Environmental Design &amp; Architecture (SEDA), and Liberal Studies &amp; Education (SLSE)<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"LTR\">\u00a0under\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"LTR\">25 programmes<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"LTR\">\u00a0were awarded degrees, marking a graduation success rate of\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"LTR\">96%<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"LTR\">. The graduating cohort comprised\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"LTR\">451 female and 393 male students<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"LTR\">, including\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"LTR\">7 PhD awardees<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"LTR\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"LTR\">19 Gold Medallists<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"LTR\">, making the ceremony a significant academic milestone for the University. Drawing inspiration from ideas he has explored in his academic and motivational writings, he spoke about the importance of coordinated purpose\u2014much like the precision and harmony required when multiple entities move together towards a shared trajectory\u2014and the value of intentional pauses in one\u2019s journey that allow reflection, recalibration and renewed momentum.
