Australian Transnational Education delegation at the QS India Summit 2026 in Goa<\/b><\/em><\/p>\n

Goa [India], February 05: <\/strong>A 20-member Australian Transnational Education (TNE) delegation representing 16 Australian universities and education providers visits\u00a0India as part of Australia\u2013India TNE Week 2026, scheduled from 1\u20136 February 2026.<\/p>\n

The objective of the visit is to showcase Australia\u2019s strong TNE capabilities while opening new pathways for collaboration, joint programmes, institutional partnerships, and sustainable education models in India.<\/p>\n

The delegation led by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission\u00a0(Austrade)\u00a0attended the QS India Summit 2026 in Goa. The 2026 summit centred on the theme: \u201cIndia@2047: Building Skills, Achieving Scale,\u00a0Driving\u00a0innovation,\u201d and provided an opportunity for the Australian delegation to engage with one of the world\u2019s fastest-growing education markets and be a part of the forward-thinking discussions on the future of Indian higher education during the summit.<\/p>\n

After Goa, the delegation attended\u00a0a global conference focused on international education sector\u00a0in New Delhi. \u00a0In addition, Austrade organised a series of market briefing sessions, roundtables\u00a0with key Indian stakeholders and business networking sessions\u00a0with the representatives of Indian Universities.<\/p>\n

The engagements provided a strong platform for the Australian\u00a0TNE\u00a0delegation to showcase their capabilities and enable conversations with key decision makers to identify new models of\u00a0TNE\u00a0engagements\u00a0with the Indian Institutions.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the visit,\u00a0Mr Vik Singh, Trade and Investment Commissioner, Australian Trade and Investment Commission, said, \u201cThis delegation marks a defining moment for Australia\u2013India transnational education engagement. As the largest Australian TNE mission to India, it reflects the strong intent of Australian universities to co-create globally relevant education models with Indian partners.
